Training
All training is one-on-one and flexible to the student's schedule.  Credit cards accepted.

Financing Available

Aircraft Rental:
IFR Piper Warrior II:  (10 hour block available)

2000 American Champion Adventure (160hp):   (dual only)
  (Tail Wheel)


Private Pilot Ratings:

Typical total cost $5000-$6000 dependent on frequency of flying.
Private Pilot Program: (payable in 3 installments)
  Includes: 45 Hour Warrior Aircraft Rental
  (additional aircraft time at reduced rate)
  Includes: 3 hours Citabria Rental (for tail wheel familiarization)
  All necessary ground and flight training is included.
  (must complete within 9 months)


Tail Wheel Endorsement:
10 Hours in the American Champion Adventure
13 Hours Flight/Ground Instruction.

Mike has loved to fly since earning his first license in 1975.

He holds the following certificates:
  A.T.P. for Single and Multi engine aircraft
  Floatplane and Glider Ratings
  Certified Flight Instructor
  Certified Instrument Instructor Certificates
  Citation 525 type rating

He currently owns and regularly flies:
  1999 Socata TB-20 (high performance, retract)
  Piper Warrior II (Primary  & IFR Trainer)
  American Champion Adventure (Aerobatic & Tail Wheel)
  Cessna Citation and Beech King Air.

FAQ's

Is It hard to learn to fly?


No, but it is challenging, great fun and very satisfying. People from age 17 to 80 can get their license. Once you earn your license it is valid for life and opens up year around opportunities for recreation and employment.

We will work with you to share the joys of aviation and to meet your goals on your schedule. You will be a well trained, safe and professional pilot.

Is it safe?

Yes, flying is safe. Pilots are well trained and the aircraft are regularly inspected and maintained to FAA standards.

What are the requirements?

For the private pilot's license:
1) Speak and read English
2) Age 16 to solo; age 17 to take practical test
3) Obtain a 3rd class Medical Certificate
4) Pass a written test
5) Take a minimum of 40 hours of flight training (part dual with instructor, part solo)
6) Pass a practical test with an FAA designated examiner
